DC Clubbing Demo's

An article in the Washington Post today, "D.C. May Be Losing Status As a Majority-Black City" give census stats detailing the city's changing demos. If the DC party crowd was any indication of the city's demos, DC would have ceased being a majority Black city years ago. The limited clubbing option for Blacks could be a factor or is that result of the declining numbers, whatever. Let's take cursory glance....
Zanzibar on the waterfront - majority Black daily
Love the club - Friday (Black night)
H2O - Saturday (Black night)
Republic Gardens - majority Black
*Note: There is word of friendly agreement between the last to venues to.....
Home - majority non black (mnb)
Platinum - mnb
Avenue - mnb (large Black crowd)
FUR - mnb (large Black crowd)
1223 - mnb
Club 5 - mnb
Kstreet - mnb
Lima - mnb
Clouds - mnb
Paper Moon - mnb
Just an observations. I think it needs to be mentioned that there is a huge international clubbing crowd in DC. This is probably a huge factor here. It is all possible that the local Blacks are not necessarily the partying type or maybe to old or to young.
Ha... As long as the partying continue it doesn't matter on bit as long as Hip Hop rules. Now!That is if 'HitMan' aka Councilman Jim Graham doesn't gets his way. How many clubs has Jim closed so far is the Four or FIVE? Check out the 'hitman' sponsored legislation...
