Just two weeks ago the DC City Council approved a measure that would allow bar, nightclubs and restaurants to sell alcohol between January 17th and 20th until 5am.
Big Brother on the Hill suggested the reconsider. And while staunchly defending their independence they recapitulated and amended the measure. Now bars, nightclubs and restaurants now can sell alcohol until 4am.
I think the council meets again on January 6th. Any guess on what might happen then...
